Have you lost an ancestor?

You maybe surprised how many people turn up after an appearance in court as a criminal! Have you tried to find information about what happened to them before and after conviction?

Research into 'Coventry's Criminal Past', and one of Coventry's oldest buildings has found some surprising results and explains what happened and where to look for the relevant records from the Romans to the 1900's.    Finding the right documents is the hard part, but you need to know what to look for even if the crime was committed elsewhere.

You could also be amongst the first to judge the facts and decide if Coventry has a ‘missing’ Guildhall! Read about the criminal’s of Coventry and their crimes from Roman days up to the 1900’s.

Home of Lady Godiva, Birth place of St George, The modern safely cycle, The motor car, and the Jet engine. If you are visiting England, why not stop awhile and see what the most central city has to offer?

The city is the home to the finest FREE car museum in the county,  see the fastest car in the world as well as many Royal vehicles

One of my interests is the preservation of County Hall opened in 1783, and the story of a missing Guildhall!
